CHURCH EVENTS

JULY 17TH: St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Men in Mission, will hold a HAMBURGER, HOTDOG & ICECREAM FUNDRAISER at the Lowes Home Center parking lot in Lincolnton from 10:00am until 2:00pm.  Proceeds will go to the building fund for our Family Life Center.

JULY 17TH: HOPE FOR CAREY event will be held at the Casar Park, off Hwy 10 in Casar at 5:00pm.  Tickets are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for kids 6-12, and under 6, free.  Event includes: ACW pro wrestling; the Pete Sutton Band; Christian Band, “Pridesette”; bounce house & petting zoo for the kids.  Concessions will be available for purchase as well.  This will be a he opportunity to reach out to people and show the love of God.  All proceeds go towards Carey and her family, who are struggling with medical expenses, after 11 year old Carey was diagnosed with a rare form of adult colon cancer.

JULY 17TH: Wings of Eagles Bike Ministry CRUISE-IN, 11:00am at Abundant Life Church of God, Shelby (behind Cleveland Mall).  Food, Music and Fellowship!  Stay as long as you like!  All bikes welcome!  Band 3:16 will provide music.

JULY 25TH: GOSPEL SINGING at Harris Baptist Church, 2:00pm, featuring the Roger’s from Blacksburg, SC.  A warm welcome is extended to all!  Info: 828-245-7486.

AUGUST 3RD:  First Presbyterian Church, Lincolnton will have a CARD GAME FUNDRAISER for Linc Home Meals from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Church Fellowship Hall, 114 W. Main St., Lincolnton. Bring your Card Club and enjoy fellowship while supporting a worthy cause. A donation of $5 or more will be accepted. Registration is recommended. Please bring your own cards for: Bridge, Canasta, Rook, Hearts, Go Fish etc. Refreshments and prizes will be provided. If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation please make check out to First Presbyterian Church and mark in memo Linc Home Meals.
