What’s Up Sports Network

The Fall of 2010 will bring a new local high school sports network to the area. Spearheaded by Calvin & Kevin Hastings the What’s Up Shopper & WOHS 1390AM and LincolnCounty.com will work together to bring local sports to all the fans of Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln County schools. Due to NCHSAA broadcast rules we cannot broadcast live action of high school football and basketball. If you are opposed to this rule please fill out the petition at the bottom of this page and let the NCHSAA know What’s Up with your feelings about the rule.

In the meantime we will bring you live audio coverage of each county’s game of the week. Along with outstanding play-by-play coverage we will provide live shots of the schools, fans, cheerleaders and sidelines. Please patronize our sponsors because they are the reason the What’s Up Shopper can bring you a free paper, free classifieds, free announcements, door prizes and giveaways, and this sports network.
